The Best Player Vote Accumulator

The 'Bester Speiler' Best Player accumulator grades our top 10 best players in the English Premier League and then in Europe. The rankings are adjusted weekly in accordance with your ratings. Comments for rankings should contain each person's top 10 best players and all rankings are accumulated till the end of the season.

The first lists have already been decided, to be adjusted by your rankings. The lists are in no particular order.

In England:
- Alexis Sanchez: A front runner in   the early race for the PFA player of the year, 12 goals and 7 assists in 18 apps would get you into any list.

- Diego Costa: Previously known for his bullish aura and perennial aggression, Costa has channelled his fury to the ball. Football fury can only be good if it gets you 14 goals and 5 assists in 18 apps, not mentioning fantastic hold up play and consistently drawing fouls.

- Eden Hazard: A former PFA player of the year, Hazard has banished the ghosts and ghouls of the 'Mou third season curse" with 9 goals and 2 assists coupled with a pretty high Whoscored.com rating of 8.03 Hazard's twinkle feet have not left him, not sure just ask Simon Francis.

- Adam Lallana: A vital cog in Jurgen Klopp's Gegen pressin machine, Lallana has made himself arguably Liverpool's best player this season. The stats do not lie here, 7 goals and 7 assists for someone playing in a midfield trio is excellent work, good auld English boys and their lack of talent, look at the Spanish play.

- Sadio Mane: A player Jurgen confessed he wished he had bought at Dortmund, endeavour, pace, dribbling and relentlessness, traits personified by Mane make Liverpool tick. Talk about the look on the faces of Liverpool fans when they remember Sturridge is in line when Mane leaves for Africa Cup of Nations.

- Paul Pogba: The '100 million pounds' player is yet to reach the dizzying heights expected of him but it's still early days. Lately Paul has been the heart and soul of Manchester United's recent resurgence, 4 goals and 3 assists from the middle have not been bad either. It's just lovely seeing a player have a hand and control the ball from defence to midfield to attack, early days #zidane-ish.

Note: Person with the highest number of first weekly rankings gets a thousand naira at the season's end.
